4B Math Test

The Unit 2 math test will be on Wednesday, October 31.  Please use your study guide, previous homework assignments and Unit 2 website links to prepare.

Reminder

Parent/Teacher conferences are November 1 and November 5. If you are having trouble signing up for a conference please contact the office. Looking forward to meeting with you to discuss your child's progress.

Spelling Test

This week, we will not have our regular word study test. Instead we will have a test on spelling each Northeast State. The test will be on Friday, October 26.
Here is the spelling list for the Northeast States:

1. Maine
2. Vermont
3. New Hampshire
4. New York
5. Rhode Island
6. New Jersey
7. Pennsylvania
8. Maryland
9. Delaware
10. Connecticut
11. Massachusetts

Northeast Map Test

We've completed our study guide for the Northeast States. Hopefully your child has shared the test date with you. We will have a test on the NE states, capitals and abbreviations on Tuesday, October 30. Students can use his/her study guide and the geography link to prepare. Here's a suggested timeline:
Week 1: Learn the 11 NE states' location on the map
Week 2: Learn the 11 NE states' capital
Week 3: Learn the 11 NE states' abbreviation

4B Math Test Results

Your child's Unit 1 math test will be sent home today. If your child scored below 70%, he/she needs to make corrections on his/her test and turn it in on Monday. For each correction your child will earn a 1/2 point. This will help to boost their test grade. Please contact me if you have any questions.

4B Math Test

The Unit 1 math test will be on Thursday, October 4. Please use your study guide, previous homework assignments and Unit 1 website links to prepare. Also remember to turn in your extra credit slip on Thursday as well.
