FIELD TRIP REMINDER

The fourth grade field trip to the Morton Arboretum is on Monday, April 29. Please remember to dress your child accordingly (the latest weather report is predicting rain and a temperature of 58 degrees). Also, if your child did not request a lunch from Organic Life, he/she will need to bring a disposable lunch. If you have been selected to chaperone you will need to bring a sack lunch as well.

IAR Testing

Fourth grade IAR testing will begin on Tuesday, April 16. Please make sure that your child comes to school well rested and prepared. Students will take the IAR Test on his/her Chromebook. Please remind your child to come to school with his/her Chromebook fully charged. Several students do not have ear buds. Students will need a set of ear buds during IAR testing. If your child does not have ear buds, please send a set to school on or by April 16.

Midwest States and Capitals Test

We've completed our study guide for the Midwest States. Hopefully your child has shared the test date with you. We will have a test on the MW states, capitals and abbreviations on Thursday, April 25. Students can use his/her study guide and the geography link to prepare. Here's a suggested timeline:
Week 1: Learn the 11 MW states' location on the map
Week 2: Learn the 11 MW states' capital
Week 3: Learn the 11 MW states' abbreviation

4B Math Test

The Unit 6 math test will be on Tuesday,  April 9.  Please use your study guide, math spiral notes, previous homework assignments and Unit 6 website links to prepare.
