Social Studies
After Winter Break, 4B will begin our study on the Southeast region of the US. We've completed our study guide for the Southeast States. We will have a test on SE states, capitals and abbreviations on Tuesday, January 21. Students can use his/her study guide and the geography link to prepare.

Math Test Corrections
Unit 4 math test corrections are due by Friday, December 13. You are required to do corrections if you received a 70% or below. The corrections will help to boost your grade. If your score is higher than a 70% you have the option of doing corrections to improve your grade as well.
Science Extra Credit
The due date for the extra credit science job is on Wednesday, December 18. If you would like to earn credit please turn it in on time.

30 Book Reading Challenge
Today we announced the fourth grade 30 book reading challenge! Our big kick-off will be this Friday (August 30). We will have our first of many "flashlight reads." Please bring a flashlight or small reading light to school on Friday. We will dim the lights and read by flashlight during our independent reading time.

Next week, as part of our writing curriculum we will start working on book reviews. Last week, your child was instructed to choose a good book that he/she would like to write a book review on. Once your child has selected a book he/she should fill out the form on the website.
