Work Day for State Fair Float

Dear 4B Parents,
On Friday, May 12, I have set aside time for students to work on his/ her State Fair Float.   We will be using shoe boxes as the base of the float. Students should bring in a covered shoe box on or before May 12. The covered shoebox should be labeled with the student’s name on the bottom.  Students may choose any type of paper (construction paper, scrapbook paper, etc.) to cover his/her box with.  The box should be completely covered.
On May 12, students should also come prepared with any additional materials needed to decorate floats. This may include decorative paper or scissors, embellishments, pictures, etc. Students will be able to use some basic supplies from the classroom (construction paper, popsicle sticks, tissue paper, etc.). Please contact me with any additional questions.

Thanks,

Ms. Baugh
