Book Commercial

Students will record book commercials on March 4. Book commercials will be recorded at home, on FlipGrid. Students will be able to access Flipgrid through Google Classroom. Please review your child's commercial script and help support his/her practice. Each student has a direction sheet and a rubric. The direction sheet and rubric are also available on the 4B website.

Open House Activity

Dear Parent,
      Our 4th grade class is doing something special for Open House and we need the following items in order to complete the project:School, Building, Architecture ...
o   A long-sleeved shirt (NO sweaters or v-necks)
o   A pair of long pants
o   7 very LARGE safety pins (2” long)
o   Some old newspaper that you no longer need.

These items should be clean, but not good dress clothes.  (Sweat pants, really don’t work very well.)
We must have these items by Thursday, February, 21.

Items will be returned in their original condition after Open House.

Book Commercials

Students will be given class time to work his/her script during the week of February 18. Please finish reading your book!
Commercials will be taped on March 4.  Before the taping students should have scripts memorized.  Click on the "Book Commercial" link to view the directions and rubric.

*Remember, the majority of your project should be completed at school.

Reading

For our current reading project your child will be required to create a book commercial.  Students should already be reading his/her selected book. Please ask your child about the book that he/she has chosen. I will be posting more detailed information soon (such as requirements and a due date). Please stay tuned.
