Owen Elementary is participating in our 2nd annual celebration of International Walk to School Day with a week of activities to increase student awareness of the benefits of walking, October 1-5, 2012. There will be special guests and opportunities for parents to join in. See the flyer for all the details.
Mon, Oct 1: Wear Green! "Owen Gives a Hoot About Walking!"
Tues, Oct 2: Wear Yellow! Be Safe and Smart!
Wed, Oct 3: Wear Purple! Pedestrian Parade - before school activity "Group walk from Brighton Ridge Park and Breakfast"
Thurs, Oct 4: Wear a Hat! Hats Off to Walking!
Fri, Oct 5: Wear Sports/Exercise Clothing! Stay Fit and Healthy! - before school activity "Fill the Blacktop" fitness class
