ELA- Read or listen to Chapter 13 (links to story are in Google Classroom or 4B website) Then answer questions (also in Google Classroom) Please submit/turn in your responses when done.
Continue to do your daily independent reading as well.

Writing: Continue your daily journal about the current pandemic. I will give you a suggested focus each day  and/or you can write about your own thoughts. (see Google Classroom "Journal" assignment for more details)
Topic for Tuesday,  March 24:  On Friday, March 20, Governor Pritzker issued a "stay at home" order. How was your weekend? How was it different from other weekends? (If you've already finished this topic from Monday, you may have a "free choice" write.

Word Study Greek and Latin Roots. Complete the Pear Deck activity on Google Classroom. Review the same Pear Deck from Monday.

Science- (Several of you still need to complete this) This is the same activity from Thursday so if you've already completed great job! Use Newsela to read the article "Closing for Coronavirus" Once you've carefully read the article, click on the activities link and take the quiz. You may access Newsela through SSO. Click on the Binder tab and you will see the assigned article. Here's the class code if needed:  APJ2VX
